Kimmunity Angels Society
Rick was born in Alberta and raised in Fort St John, BC. Almost immediately after graduation, he took a leap of faith and hit the road to pursue a career in music. His band, Simon Kaos, didn't make it huge, but they spent ten fabulous years traveling Western Canada. Rick met amazing people, learned many life lessons, gained knowledge and experience not teachable in university and HAD A LOT OF FUN!
When he decided to settle, he chose Terrace because of all it offers. He enjoys fly fishing, hiking, kayaking and still keeps his fingers in the music world. After university, Rick began a career as an Information Technologist and currently works for Coast Mountain College.
Over the years he has learned patience, laughter, family, friends, moments and memories are what matter most. Rick is a big proponent of living a meaningful life and giving back, which is why he looks forward to being a Director for the Kimmunity Angels Society.
Terrace is where Shauna was born and raised. In 1994, she received her Bachelor of Education from UVic and moved back home to work as a teacher-on-call. Shauna now manages the promotional division of Silvertip Promotions and Signs.
In 1996, Shauna and her husband, Scott married and in 2001, they adopted their son and in 2003 their daughter was born.
Shauna believes strongly in giving back to her community. For 10 years she volunteered on the PAC at her children's elementary school, helped fundraise for their school and sponsored events. Prior to sitting on the Board of Directors as Vice President, Shauna donated many hours of her time and provided financial support to the Kimmunity Angels Society.

Terrace has been home to Janice since 1967. After graduation she moved to Vancouver to attend university but after her mom passed away from cancer in 1982 she moved back to be closer to family.
In 1982 she worked at the Bank of Montreal and then in 1984 she joined Terrace Builders as their bookkeeper. It was there that she learned a lot of her office skills and then when they opened Your Decor, she took on more of an office manager role. She is very grateful for all the wonderful mentors she had while at Terrace Builders for 17 years.
In 2002 she joined Bob Wilkinson with Northwest Cartridge Machines and Gord Shaben with Silvertip Promotions where she manages the business on a day to day basis.
When she is not traveling with her husband she enjoys her fitness classes, bike riding, boating and enjoying summer days at the cabin.
She sat on the Terrace Chamber of Commerce Board for over 7 years, 4 of which she was the President. She is currently a mentor for the Women's Enterprise.
Janice recognizes how important it is to be involved in the community and having had so many friends and family affected by serious illness really understands and appreciates the work of Kimmunity Angels.
Terrace has been home to Bonnie for 55 years and when she's not working, she enjoys its pristine outdoors; walking, hiking, biking, quading or kayaking with friends and family. In 1975 she married her high school sweetheart and is blessed with a beautiful daughter, son in-law and two precious grandchildren; family is of utmost importance to her.
Bonnie pursued a career in the dental profession; attained her CDA certification through NAIT. She has been a reliable and dedicated employee at Park Avenue Dental since 1974, managing their successful practice.
Like many families, Bonnie's loved ones have been affected by serious illness, which, is how she understands and recognizes first hand, the challenges that take a toll on physical and emotional health and recovery. Bonnie's compassion and giving nature is what motivated her to join the Kimmunity Angels Society, Board of Director and we are lucky to have her.

Donna was born in beautiful Nova Scotia and considers herself lucky to have also lived in Quebec, Alberta and BC. In 1985 she came to Terrace and stayed, with the exception of a brief period when she lived in Chilliwack and Prince Rupert.
After raising her children, obtaining a meaningful career became her focus, which led her to a regional management position with Kopar Administration Ltd. In 2007 she transitioned from Kopar Administration to the Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation ( say that fast 3 times ) and currently works as an Adjudicator for the Health Assistance Branch, which she thoroughly enjoys.
Giving connects us to others, creates strong communities which in turn helps build a stronger society. As the President of Kimmunity Angels Society, Donna looks forward to giving and connecting with her community to promote a happy and healthy society.
